I hadn’t been to Jack Kerouac’s hometown in Lowell, MA since before the pandemic. During that time there have been a few changes, one of the greatest of which is the Grotto at the Franco American School has been refurbished and moved to a new location. Jack made the Grotto famous in his novels. It was one of the highlights of my personal tour around Jack’s beloved Lowell.
