Suzi Kaplan Olmsted has appeared in The Sun, Blue Satellite, 51%, F.T.S, Big Scream, poetrysuperhighway.com, M.A.G., Lummox Journal, getunderground.com, and Napalm Health Spa. Suzi recently read on a radio broadcast of the “Annual West Coast Live Poetry Jam.” She is also one of the illustrators of The Ellyn Maybe Coloring Book, edited by Exxene Cervenka (Sacred Beverage Press, 1997) as well as the Beatitude Golden Anniversary volume, and was nominated for a Pushcart Prize for a poem from her chapbook, Industrial Wallet (Virgogray Press). Suzi has been a student of Deena Metzger since 1993 and now lives in Oakland, California with her husband, poet Marc Olmsted, where they are slaves to the bidding of an extraordinary cat, Girly-Girl.

Of Peter Marti’s poetry, Gregory Corso said: “Yeah, you made me see it—good sound, good clear images.” Jack Hirschman said “You ain’t scared of letting the ‘self’ go on the page…you use the ‘I’ with a certain confidence that suggests your ‘I’ has its eye on the world as you.” Marti studied at Naropa’s Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics with Ginsberg, Burroughs, Corso in 1977, and is a member of the San Francisco based poetry/art magazine collective, Birthstone. Arms of Venus new wave rock band in ’80s and part of the Wordland performance poetry group in the early ’90s. Nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2002, Marti’s published poetry includes City Lights Journal and Beatitude Golden Anniversary issue.
