John Allen Cassady is the third child of Neal and Carolyn Cassady and just happens to be named after his father’s two best friends, Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg.

John was born when his parents lived at 29 Russell Street in San Francisco and grew up in Los Gatos, CA on Bancroft Avenue where Jack Kerouac was a frequent guest.
