A Visit to John Natsoulas Gallery

The new Beat Museum on Wheels makes a visit to the John Natsoulas Center for the Arts in Davis, CA.

John Natsoulas discusses the exhibition

The Beat Museum on Wheels made one of its first stops in Davis, California, to visit the John Natsoulas Center for the Arts. The gallery recently hosted The Beat Goes On: Poets as Painters, featuring a selection of paintings by Beat poets, writers, and artists from collector Joe Lee. (More info, and an interview with Joe Lee here.)

The exhibition included works by Jack Kerouac, Gregory Corso, Allen Ginsberg, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Robert LaVigne, Mohammed Mrabet, Paul Bowles, Harold Norse, Carolyn Cassady, Brion Gysin, Lew Welch, Kenneth Patchen, William S. Burroughs, Michael McClure, and others.

John Natsoulas personally showed us around the gallery, and spent a few minutes discussing the exhibition.
