Interzone, by William S. Burroughs Readers' Reviews:
"Burroughs is by far my favorite author, and this book is by far his greatest. Written mostly while 'taking the cure' (that is, in detox from one of his many junk habits), the book defines him in a way that no biographer can. Among the many fascinating pieces found in this literary treasure are various journal entries, letter excerpts, and shockingly autobiographical story bits (i.e. The Finger). It comes to a surging conclusion with the explosive and deliberately sexual Word. A must-have for any Burroughs fanatic."
