This new collection features poems, ephemera, and art work from Beat Poet legend Jack Micheline. It is the largest compilation of unpublished material since Micheline’s death in 1998, and includes poems, post cards, photographs and images of many pieces of his original artwork. Micheline was born in 1929 and lived in New York until he moved to San Francisco in the 1960’s. He was known and lived as a street poet and his love of San Francisco’s Mission District is fully integrated in his poems and artwork in this beautiful volume of his work.
