Womxn Reading at the Beat Museum – All Day Marathon

For the last year the Beat Museum has been hosting a monthly event called “Eves at The Beat” which is an all womxn’s event focused on poetry and spoken word. The response has been beyond our expectations and the thing we really appreciate about it is we see an audience much different than the ones we normally see in North Beach.

On Saturday March 28th we’ll be hosting an all-day reading in honor of Women’s History Month. It will run from 11am to 10pm and will feature 50+ participants. To the best of my knowledge this will be the largest gathering featuring only womxn poets and writers in the history of San Francisco.
